Scholarship Information:

Three $2,000.00 scholarships are awarded by the Green Tree Rotary Club every year. These scholarships will be based on the following qualifications:

Applications are due no later then Wednesday April 30, 2008

1.      The scholarships are open to high school senior boys and girls (excluding sons and daughters of Rotarians).

 

2.      Applicants must be residents of Green Tree Borough or members of Canevin Catholic High School Interact.

 

3.      Applicants must furnish proof of acceptance or enrollment in a college, junior college, vocational school, or hospital of their choice.

 

4.      A high school transcript and academic standing (class rank) must accompany the application.

 

5.      The scholarship must be used for educational purposes only and within six months of the award.

 

6.      Awarding of the scholarship will be based upon the following:

1. A brief statement of financial need.

2. Participation in school and extracurricular activities.

3. One teacher recommendation

4. Academic achievement.
